Welcome to Cybernics laboratory.
We have three major research Projects listed as follow.

1)Arfificial Heart Control Project; New Generation Artificial Heart System
2)Project HAL; Exo-Skeleton type Robot suit named as "Cybersuit" HAL(Hybrid Assistive Limb)
3)Humanoid Control Project

These researches are/were supported by our(Japanese ) government and now we obtain big grants. These are the top class researches in the world. Furthermore, we have good collaborations with Clinical Medicine Group in University of Tsukuba, Mechanical Lab. group in AIST, Baylor College of Med. in USA, Big Japanese Companies, etc..
Every year, members of this laboratory can go to the Baylor College of Medicine if they wish. Located in the Texas Medical Center,BCM is recognized as a premiere academic health science center.

Future Work and Vision:

In our laboratory, we focus on developing the new research field called "Cybernics". Cybernics is the academic field combining Cybernetics, Mechatronics, Bionics , Medics(Medical Engineering), and Informatics including Electronics, Physics and Mathematics.

Cybernics Lab. is located in the heart of Tsukuba, the science City of Japan. The main Lab. is inside science wing (RIgakukei-syushito) of University of Tsukuba. However, it also inhabits in Venture business laboratory, clinical medicine related laboratory and liaison center etc., is it vast as the name itself.
